Our Story

We started with an Italian Restaurant Pizzaioli Nestled in the hills of Chino in 1995, Pizzaioli has been called "a hidden gem of an Italian restaurant" by the Southern California Restaurant Writers Association and has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from the LA Times, The Daily Bulletin, Inland Empire Business Press, The San Bernardino Sun, The Riverside Press-Enterprise and the Inland Empire Magazine.

The restaurant received the"Gold Award" from the Southern California Restaurant Writer's Association.
The Wine Spectator's "Best of Excellence Award," a coveted award bestowed upon the best wine lists in the world.
Owner and President Tommaso De Grezia was the recipient of the Chino Valley and Ontario Chamber of Commerce "Business Person of the Year" award for 2000.

Having witnessed the incredible growth of the Internet, we began looking for new opportunities to expand the restaurant. With the expanding wine list the logical choice was wine, starting the Internet business in 1997 at Pizzaioli.com and later growing into www.NapaCabs.com.

With the ever-increasing inventory levels, in 2001 NapaCabs expanded into a temperature and humidity controlled wine cellar warehouse at 14702 Central Ave. Chino California (909) 548-2888. The facility also has a wine tasting bar and a vast selection of fine spirits. NapaCabs will also schedule wine tasting classes, winemaker dinners, and special tasting events featuring winemakers and their wines from the very best prime vineyards and producers.

In the June 2007 issue of Food & Wine magazine, NapaCabs.com was named as one of their "10 Best Online Wine Shops". "- access to highly allocated wines, which they offer at excellent prices." - Food & Wine Magazine.

Napacabs in a Nutshell (AKA: About Us): We love wine. We love selling wine to people who love wine the way we do. Honestly, that's about as complicated as we get. Squeeze in a little profit and we're happy campers. We try to keep you happy by having the best possible pricing on the wines your looking for.

We do this by NOT running foolhardy specials such as “free shipping” or “mixed-case discounts”, which we admit sound really, really nice (but the reality is your paying more per bottle to cover the cost of the whatever discount they made up just to try and get your attention in the first place).

We like to keep things simple. Our small staff (and yes, size does matter, but we‘ll come back to that in a second) is focused on one thing, getting your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. We’ve been doing this for a while, and the truth is that you don’t need a hundred warehouses or a thousand employees to ship wine. You just have to know what your doing and work to make it happen. We are workers, and our operation is equipped to do exactly what it needs to. You know what kind of wine you like, and we know what it takes to get it to you. Like we said, simple.

If you do happen to have questions or just need a little help, feel free to give us a call during our operating hours (everybody’s got to sleep sometime) and we’ll be happy to do what we can. We are not a chain or some billion-dollar corporation. If you call us, you wont have to run a gauntlet of mechanized voices before reaching a real person, or email us only to have no response. We are real people, and if you’re shopping with us we are going to treat you like a real person, not a number (Size does matter, and bigger isn‘t always better).
