WA 90 Pts - Winemaker's Notes - This wine is both elegant and intense, offering layered aromas of red raspberries, fresh Oregon strawberries, brown spice and cedar. Its aromas are reflected on a palate that speaks of purity and elegance, and is exceptionally balanced with silky tannins and a persistent finish. This wine will pair beautifully with the Pinot noir classics - lamb, duck, grilled salmon, and aged cheeses. Rated 90+
According to Wine Advocate - The 2009 Pinot Noir Elizabeth’s Reserve is a blend of seven vineyards. Darker in color than the Willamette Valley cuvee, it sports an alluring nose of spicy black fruits and floral aromas. In the glass it exhibits ample savory fruit, moderate depth, and a medium-long finish. It, too, is meant for drinking over the next 6-7 years.
