W&S 95 Pts. - According to Wine & Spirits: Grown on slopes of clay and white limestone, this ferments for 20 to 30 days in wooden vats (significantly longer than Baudry's other cuvées) then ages in oak (some new) for up to 18 months. The site and the careful vinification come together in a wine of casual elegance, its floral scent starting from a tight place and expanding into a rich, vibrant intensity. The fruit is full, the flavor as dark as pomegranate, firmly structured without any perceptible edges. It follows the powerful curves of a Henry Moore sculpture, as ready now as it will be for years to come. Rated 90+
