Tasting Notes - Rombauer Vineyards' Napa Valley Cabernet has aromas of violets, black currant, cherry, chocolate and cloves. This delicious wine has rich, ripe, plush flavors of blackberry, currant, plum and wild berry backed with hints of spice. The fruit is nicely balanced with firm tannins. There is a burst of flavor that lingers on the palate and adds to the complexity of wine.
This classic California DeGrezia Cabernet Sauvignon, is the inaugural release of the DeGrezia Family wine label. Our Winemakers tasting notes: Deep garnet in color, this full-bodied Cabernet has aromas of cinnamon and red licorice combined with flavors of bing cherries and a long creamy finish.
Winemaker Notes - The Silver Oak 2006 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon beautifully expresses the full aromatic ripeness of this exemplary vintage. It is full bodied and yet refined, and consistent in its color, aroma, palate and finish. It has a dark garnet color and a nose of black cherry, clove, cinnamon, lavender and licorice. It is seamless on the palate with a solid core of berry fruit, velvety tannins and excellent length. With proper cellaring it should give drinking pleasure through 2032.
