Wow, excellence delivered for a price unbeatable
Bought for 59.99. Saw it on the shelf a few months back and had it lingering in my head ever since. This extra anejo is something to be cherished. The nose is caramel, hazelnut, toffee, and a bit earthy, with very slight agave alcohol. This sips like a very fine scotch whiskey. The taste evolves in your mouth as you hold it on your tongue through swallowing. It starts with an oaky, earthy flavor with cinnamon, then evolves into chocolate and toffee flavor. The flavor of chocolate and toffee will linger on your tongue for several minutes after swallowing. This won't beat some of the super-premium extra anejos, but for 59.99, it is a steal.
