Chryseia 2009 Post Scriptum Douro

This wine is produced from traditional Port varieties that include Tinta Roriz Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca and aged for 9 months in French oak barrels. Purple in color with an herbal,spicy nose. It is quite dry with a medium-body and displays red fruits aromas and a refreshing acidity. The tannins are mildly expressive.

Really Cool little red from Portugal

Loved the nose, really different... Super smokey nose - like forest fire smokey.  Cherry and bright Raspberry are rich and ripe on the palate.  Finishes with a smokey caramel note.
