Exclusively from the wine-making estate at the heart of Cognac’s Premier Cru. Very Superior Old Pale quality. Golden amber. Complex, fruity and floral, with discreet notes of vanilla. Harmonious with persistent flavours. Golden amber in colour, this VSOP develops a fruity grape and floral bouquet characteristic of Grande Champagne. There is also a discreet hint of vanilla from the tannin in the oak barrels in which it matures. The persistence of the flavours reflects a balance and a maturity that is already clearly marked.
It is presented in a carafe, a reproduction of a sixteenth century bottle in extra-clear glass.
This cognac won the Gold Medal in its category at the World Spirit Competition 2001 in San Francisco and at the Prodexpo Wine Fair in Moscow in 2003.
