WE 93 Pts - According to Wine Enthusiast - So softly delicious, it’s probably not an ager, but what a terrific wine to drink now and over the next few years. Really luscious, showing modern-style ripe blackberry, black cherry, cassis and mocha flavors that sink deep and last long into the finish. The tannins and overall structure lift it into classy elegance.

According to Wine Advocate - The 2009 Trilogy is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and 5% Malbec. The wine possesses good balance and depth in its dark red fruit, flowers, mint and spices. This attractive, tasty wine is best enjoyed over the next few years. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015.
Winemakers Notes - The 2009 Trilogy possesses all the attributes that make Trilogy so great—ripe berries, allspice, white chocolate, espresso and black currant. Three varietals merge together to form a beautiful balanced lush wine that makes you just want to have one more sip. The Merlot brings out the red fruits, while the Cabernet and Malbec are responsible for the black fruits. We are proud to say that after 33 years of winemaking and 25 years of crafting Trilogy, Flora Springs is still breaking new ground. We credit the consistent organic and sustainable farming practices of our vineyard team as well as the focus and direction of our winemaker, Paul Steinauer. Rated 90+
