Jun 13, 2011- Winemaker Notes - Our 2007 Francis Ford Coppola Director’s Cabernet Sauvignon is absolutely lush and decadent. By using a blend of lightly toasted French and American oak barrels, we were able to give this wine a soft, supple texture and juicy flavors of cherries, blackberries, licorice and spice. Serve it with marinated skirt steak, penne with sausage and sage, or cheddar-topped potatoes.
