French Whiskey French whisky has prospered in recent years. There are currently three distilleries making single malt whisky in France: Guillon, Glann ar Mor (who have recently produced a peated expression named Kornog) and Warenghem in Bretagne, which has existed since 1900 but only began making whisky in 1994.
