W&S 92 WA 91 WS 90 Pts - Tasting Notes - The NV Brut Grand Rose is made in a powerful, austere style that is best suited to the dinner table rather than for drinking as an aperitif. With air, pretty floral red fruits appear, yet this remains a muscular Champagne with notable thrust and vitality. In short, this is a very serious wine. The blend is 56% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir, with the addition of 9% still red wines from Bouzy and Ambonnay. The cork is labeled C 7100, and this bottle was disgorged in May, 2007. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2011. Rated 90+
