WE 95pts. - According to the Wine Enthusiast: A very fine Cabernet that combines the modern cult style ripeness with old-fashioned structure to produce a wine of exceptional appeal. It's rich in mountain-intense black currants, bitter chocolate, spices and smoky oak, wrapped into splendid tannins, and the finish is throroughly dry. The grapes are from the Sonoma side of Spring Mountain, and the winemaker was veteran Marco DiGiulio. Winemaker Notes - Located on the rugged west side of Spring Mountain, Hidden Ridge is 100% Cabernet planted in 21 blocks on slopes with elevations ranging from 900-1700 feet. Crafted by winmaker Marco Di Giulio, the wine made from the influences of this dramtic terain and altitude is densely rich and deliciously concentrated with soft tannins.
