With vineyards located in between the Cote-Brune and Cote-Blonde this wine offers the dark structure of the Cote Brune and the elegance of the Cote Blonde.The very dark,violet color speaks of the density of the vintage. 2007 was a warm year in northern Rhone. On the nose, intense notes of green pepper, tar and bacon fat great you! On the palate the structure again represents the vintage with a superb balance between fresh, dark berries aromas and the incredible silkiness of the tannins. Right at the end though, the tannins come back for another display, all wrapped around a little more pepper. What a superb wine experience this wine offers.
