According to Wine Spectator - Concentrated dark plum and berry flavors feature notes of roasted meat, with plenty of spice. The dense finish is filled with mocha and dark chocolate, with hints of smoke. Drink now. 1,000 cases made.
According to Wine Advocate - The 2008 DOMINGOS is a blend of Touriga Nacional (60%) and Syrah (40%). It opens sweet, with some obvious oak that needs to integrate, but it quickly became quite crisp –almost to a fault-- and focused, with lovely aromatics. Intense and gripping on the finish, it has very nice structure for this price range, elegance and good but focused flavors delivered to the palate by its acidity. There does not seem to be a lot of mid-palate concentration, perhaps in accordance with the winemaker’s determination to avoid jammy wines, but it is sunny, charming and has considerable character. The Touriga aromatics dominate early on; the Syrah gaminess emerges with air. It is an approachable wine that can still hold awhile. Drink now-2018. (Abbreviated)
