This blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc reveals an intriguing fruity bouquet and a refined dry taste. A classic blend of international varieties that have thrived in the clay and calcareous soils of Calabria, Critone is a delicious wine with elegant character. Best enjoyed with seafood antipasti, fish-based pasta, fish and shellfish entrees, salads and vegetables. Critone is an example of Librandi’s philosophy that ‘the future of Calabrian oenology is in knowing how to marry tradition and innovation.’ International varieties were originally planted for the purpose of experimental research, but they have yielded impressive results.
