Its broad, savory, complex perfume offers up scents of smoked game, garrigue, new saddle leather, black currants, and blackberries. Generously endowed and full-bodied with velvety tannins (a hallmark of all the McPrice Myers wines) as well as a long, satisfying finish, it should last for another 4-5 years or more. According to the Wine Advocate: Intense and refined, showing supple, spicy wild berry, black cherry and black pepper flavors, with touches of red and black licorice, mineral and floral notes. Full-bodied, ending with a push of ripe berry fruit. Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. Drink now through 2017.
