Feb 28, 2011- Tasting Notes - Plenty of creamy oak overlies slightly spicy, mineral-tinged fruit in the ripe, but well-composed nose of this very solid effort, and, while fairly full-bodied and as gutsy as Petite Sirah should be, it is nicely balanced, fairly supple in feel and is not undone by runaway astringency. It hangs on to fruit all the way to the end, and has the tannins in place for a half-dozen years of growth.
