Winemaker Notes - Floral and mineral components are quite expressive in the 2009 Medina Chardonnay. Muscat overtones laced with flavors of kiwi and apple mix with an oily, mineral quality that fills the middle palate. The natural acidity is nicely balanced by this medley of flavors and offers up hints of citrus that leave the mouth watering. This wine strikes a nice balance between fruit, acid and oak creating a wine with an opulent middle palate that carries the fruit into a long, persistent finish.
