Oct 16, 2008- Tasting Notes - Located in Anderson Valley near the town of Philo, the Hein Family Vineyard was planted between 1997-1999. The gentle south/southwest slope and cool growing climate provide the perfect conditions for growing amazing Pinot Noir, and the combination of Pommard and three Dijon clones enhances the complexity and depth of this wine. Deep, dark fruit and brooding intensity stand out as hallmarks of this vineyard, and are accompanied by great structure, concentration, and balance.
