WE 92 Pts. - Summer's Diamond Mountain Cabernet was a favorite for us. With a sniff, we knew we had found something special. A swirl and a sip and we were smitten, this wine is classic mountain grown Cabernet - really expressive and seamless.

 

According to the Wine Enthusiast: This is a beautiful, classic 100% varietal Cabernet Sauvignon, but it’s also immature in hard tannins, which is a telltale mark of this mountain appellation. The wine is bone dry and complex, with waves of blackberries, black currants, cassis, minerals and cedar. It clearly wants time in the cellar. Best after 2013. Rated 90+

This limited production Cab (500 cases) is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, grown on the volcanic soil from the Mayacama Mountains in Napa. This wine is truly fine and elegant. On the nose it reveals notes of dark berries and cedar. On the palate it displays layers of black current supported by a noticeable mineral structure. This wine is very clean and dry and ends with sharp tannins. All main character traits of this wine are in balanced with the others contributing to its elegance.
