Sep 20, 2011- Guidalberto is named after Guidalberto della Gherardesca, an ancestor of Nicolo Incisa dela Rocchetta who cultivated
vines in Bolgheri. Although similar in terrain as Sassicaia, the blend is different and created from younger vines.
Composed of 40% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Sangiovese it is aged for 14 months in French barrique,
resulting in a modern and well balanced wine that maintains a supple and concentrated character marked by extremely smooth tannins.
