Nov 15, 2011- For those of you unfamiliar with Valpolicella Ripasso, think of this as a poor-man’s Amarone – It is suped-up with dried grapes in a way similar to Amarone – and it’s usually a fraction of the price! We love Bussola’s Ca’ del Laito because of its rich fruit character and powerful expression of Corvinone, Corvina Grossa, and Rondinella.
