Turnbull 2005 Black Label Red Wine Napa Valley Oakville

Winemaker Notes - Since the debut of Turnbull's Black Label from the 1997 vintage, great care has been taken to assure that the wine in the bottle would rank among the Valley's finest. To that end, in 2005, we selected only the best of the estate grown fruit from our Weitz Vineyard, picked at the peak of ripeness, fermented with an eye toward full extraction of color and flavor, to arrive at the finest possible Bordeaux varietal blend. Since the inception of the Black Label, the wine press has recognized our efforts as having not only produced wines of superior quality, but of excellent value and consistency.
