Winemaker Notes - Vice Versa is 100% Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon produced to contrast valley floor (To Kalon Vineyard) with high elevation (Stagecoach Vineyard) fruit from Atlas Peak. With Paul Hobbs as consulting winemaker, this wine has fantastic pedigree. The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits the fine qualities of both To Kalon and Stage Coach Vineyards. Excellent focus, balance, purity and precision are combined with an expansive perfume of liqueur de cassis, chocolate, licorice, grilled red peppers and spice. This juicy, complex, dark wine reveals chewy silky tannins and fine acidity giving structure and delineation to the beautiful fruit.
