Mar 03, 2010- Winemaker Notes - Le Petite Vice 2005 is one of our most exciting wines to date. The blend of nearly equal parts of select Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon and Russian River Syrah is truly marvelous. This dark, polished wine boasts extremely seductive aromas of black forest cake, small red and black berries, grilled meats, ash and spices. On the palate, the Le Petite Vice shows excellent density, purity, delineation, tannic structure and balance. It will gain weight and complexity as it ages over the next 15+ years but it is absolutely gorgeous now. Paul Hobbs is the consulting winemaker.
