Bright red. A complex nose offers briary red berries, smoked meat, dried herbs and a hint of flowers. Lively and precise in the mouth, with flavors similar to the aromas. Bright but ripe and not at all heavy, with an intriguing element of candied flowers on the back half.

IWC 90pts. - You asked for it and we delivered. Lorenzo's Heirloom is made from Zinfandel and Carignan from century-year-old vines on the Dry Creek Bench. Robert Parker is a fan. He rated the last vintage of this wine an outstanding 94 points. Rated 90+

According to Robert Parker: Ravenwood’s renowned Joel Peterson must be proud of what his son, Morgan, has achieved with the Bedrock Wine Company in such a short period of time. These wines continue to provide super-impressive quality at realistic prices. Moreover, they tend to be creative blends that should invite more and more California winemakers to go down this path rather than sticking to single varietals.

According to Steven Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: Opaque purple. Powerful, ripe cherry and blackcurrant aromas are deepened by strong mineral and violet tones. A rich, rather brooding style, with chewy texture and deep, liqueur-like dark fruit flavors. Finishes ripe and very long, with powerful tannins; this could use some time to loosen up.
