WA 90 Pts - According to Robert Parker - "This winery deserves kudos for their remarkable cuvées of Fumé Blanc, all of which qualify as values. A fabulous bargain, the 2013 Fumé Blanc Sonoma (25,000 cases produced) is not put through malolactic, 70% is aged in stainless steel and 30% in older oak. It offers flowery, perfumed, melony, caramelized grapefruit and citrus notes, medium body, exuberant, fresh, lively fruit, and outstanding purity as well as texture. An incredible value, this beauty can be drunk over the next year or so."
According to Wine Spectator - "A whiff of toast mingles with the lemon verbena and green apple notes, balancing the aromatics with a big mouthful of juicy citrus flavors. Drink now."
According to Vinous - "The 2013 Fume Blanc is a pretty, aromatic white to drink now and over the next year or two. Green apple, pear and jasmine are given an extra aromatic kick from the inclusion of drops of Semillon and Viognier. By any measure, the 2013 Fume Blanc is a screaming value."
According to Wine Enthusiast - "Salty in lemon-lime, the freshness on the nose develops into riper, more defined aspects of apricot, pear and quince, with a suggestion of honey in terms of taste and viscosity. The finale is rich in swirls of vanilla cream." 13.6% ABV.
