According to Antonio Galloni - "The 2012 Viognier Le Bon Climat is quite pretty and textured. Jasmine, pear, white flowers and spices all meld together in an attractive, perfumed Viognier to drink over the next 2-3 years. This is a very pretty wine from Jim Clendenen, not to mention a terrific value."
According to Wine Advocate - "A straightforward effort the gives up juicy citrus, peach and a tinge of white flowers, the 2012 Viognier Le Bon Climat Vineyard (100% Viognier aged 6 months in neutral wood) is medium-bodied, clean and crisp."
Winemakers Notes - "This is a food friendly Viognier. The wine has more acid and an understated fruitiness than most California Viogniers. Aromas of pear, stone fruit and honeydew melon greet the drinker. The flavors of peaches and tangerines are obvious, but a hint of mint gives the complexity to a nice mouthful of wine." 13.5% ABV.
