"Great balance of fruit, black raspberry, cassis, and hints of cherry and firm acidity, making for a great velvety yet structured wine. One of the most intense Dry Creek zinfandels weメve made, with dark chocolate and black pepper spice underlying the higher."

According to International Wine Cellar - "Bright, full red. Black raspberry, spices and black pepper are lifted by a floral note on the nose. Nicely delineated flavors of dark berries, pepper and spices display good cut and intensity and a welcome touch of sweetness. A bit unforgiving today, finishing with firm, dusty tannins and good spicy, chocolatey length. I'd give this another year in bottle before pulling the cork."

According to Wine Spectator - "The raspberry and eucalyptus aromas lead to tightly wound cherry, herb and spicy loam flavors. The tannins arrive on the finish. Drink now through 2018."

According to Robert Parker - "From a great vintage, the 2012 Zinfandel Dry Creek boasts a dark ruby color, a big, projected nose of berry fruit, spice, pepper and flowers, and abundant character, Enjoy this sleeper of the vintage over the next several years." 92% Zinfandel, 8% Petite Sirah. 14.5% ABV.
