WA 89 WS 88 Pts - According to Wine Advocate - "Leading off the reds, and dense and concentrated in the vintage, the 2011 Cairanne Les Travers’ inky purple color is followed by ample plum, melted licorice, smoke and crushed stone like nuances. Medium-bodied, rich and nicely balanced, it falls off slightly on the finish, but is rock solid and has a great texture. Drink it over the coming 3-5 years."
According to Wine Spectator - "Juicy blueberry and raspberry fruit pumps along here, with hints of anise and plum eau-de-vie. Offers a silky, open finish. Drink now."
Winemakers Notes - "Intense ruby-red colour. Elegant smell of blackcurrant and elderberry. Starting with full and concentrated flavours, silky tannins, blackcurrant and cherry, with a final touch of pepper and spice." 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault. 13.5% ABV.
