According to Wine Advocate - "The 2013 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir is matured 100% in oak for 11 months of which 20% is new. It is a little more backward on the nose compared to the Willamette Valley Pinot Noir '13, probably because it had only recently been bottled. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin that ensure this is very easy drinking. No hard edges here: smooth in the mouth with strawberry and raspberry coming through on the finish."
Tasting Notes - "Our 2013 Dundee Hills cuvée is classically balanced, elegant, focused, and and very clearly representative of our estate’s terroir. The color is a beautiful mix of garnet and ruby. Aromatically dynamic, floral notes with bright red fruit and spice fill the bouquet and palate. It is a mix of roses and violets with red hills earth, white pepper, red currant, cassis, light vanilla, pomegranate and warm cherry pie. On the palate, the texture is layered and complex, and the finish is quite long with well integrated tannins that will round in time. Our 2013 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir is young, but very pleasing now, and will only improve with time and patience. Enjoy today, and through the next five to eight years." 13.9% ABV.
