Vinous 94 WA 92 - Aromas of black cherry and plum are laced thru with notes of graphite, cedar, incense, tobacco and herbs. Flavors are classic Cabernet; complex and well integrated with a bright, energetic structure. Tannins are firm and supple.

Vinous 94 WA 92 Pts - According to Antonio Galloni - "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the more fascinating, nuanced wine of the vintage. Graphite, herbs, tobacco, cedar and incense are some of the many notes that add dimension in a firm, dark Cabernet Sauvignon full of complexity. The firm tannins need time to soften, but there is a lot to look forward to. Hints of iron, cedar and red stone fruits linger on the close." According to Robert Parker - "From Northwest Napa Valley, in particular Diamond Mountain adjacent to Calistoga in the Mayacamas Mountains, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon shows nice notes of roasted meats, herbs, and a grilled, bloody-steak element to its dense, cassis fruit, forest floor and high-quality unsmoked cigar tobacco. It’s dense, full-bodied, powerful and best drunk over the next 15 or so years." 14.1% ABV.
