Mistaken for Zinfandel and most likely imported to the United States by Spanish missionaries, the Mission was the only wine producing grape in California until about the mid-1800s. About that time, the grape variety was virtually wiped out by disease. Only 300 bottles of this delicious wine were produced, a young wine meant to drink now. 14.2% ABV.
