Intense violet color with aromas of cherry and ripe plum. Spiced, with mocha and blackberry hints. Gracefully sweet, with a persistent, delicate perfume and an elegant structure.

WA 90 Pts - According to Wine Advocate - The 2011 Malbec D.O.C., one of the few Controlled Appellation wines (D.O.C.) from Lujan de Cuyo, is pure Malbec aged for 10 month in new French oak barrels. The wood is well-integrated and the bouquet is dominated by red fruits and flower aromas, and the wine is just a hint lactic as well as spicy, very fragrant and attractive. The palate is medium-bodied, with clean flavors, fine tannins and persistence, but a little more acidity would make it livelier. A very drinkable, elegant Malbec.

According to International Wine Cellar - Good full medium red. Sexy, musky aromas of plum, coffee, truffle and nutty oak. Sweet, shapely and vinous, showing insidious intensity and cut to the flavors of currant, plum, tobacco, mint and underbrush. This rather suave wine relies as much on its acidity as on its tannins for structure. The classically dry finish features sneaky length. 14% ABV. Rated 90+
