WS 89 WA 88 WE 88 Pts - According to Wine Spectator - This firm white offers lively flavors of peach, grapefruit and green almond on a steely core of acidity, with just enough flesh to remain generous. Drink now through 2015.
According to Robert Parker - This 100% Albarino is one of the best buys emerging from the appellation of Rias Baixas, which has become quite fashionable, causing the wines’ prices to rise. The 2012 Burgans, from one of the winery’s oldest vineyards of the same name, exhibits plenty of flowery notes intermixed with apricot jam and delicate peach fruit. Medium-bodied, crisp, stony, fresh and lively, it should drink well over the next 1-2 years.
According to Wine Enthusiast - Equal parts lemon blossom, minerality, peach and sea foam drive the nose of this Galician white toward a round, wide-bodied palate. Flavors of oyster shell, saline, nectarine and apple are all proper and pleasant, while saline and minerality control the finish. 12.5% ABV.
