Details

WE 91 Pts - According to Wine Enthusiast - A very fine Cab, complex and interesting in every way. Nearing five years of age, it’s right at that point where the primary fruit character is changing into notes of funky leather. The tannins are Alexander Valley-soft and refined. Drink now–2020

Winemaker Notes - This Cabernet Sauvignon exudes aromas of brandied cherries, earth and forest floor; in the mouth it has an intriguing minerality. Good tannic weight for aging, a pretty wine with citrus notes and bright fruit acidity. Cellared properly it should age gracefully until at least 2022. 14.2% ABV. Rated 90+

The nose is a little weak. Some fruit, could use a little more, but good acid.
