According to Wine Spectator - Concentrated, with fresh sage notes complementing the currant and blackberry fruit flavors, highlighted by toast and tobacco details. Delivers a supple, elegant finish. Drink now through 2022.
According to Wine Enthusiast - Power and intensity mark this fruity young Cabernet. The vineyard is on the eastern side of Paso Robles. It’s a warmer area, but in the cool vintage it did quite well. The wine is soft and mellow, and is filled with chocolate, blackberry pie and smoky oak flavors.
According to Wine Advocate - Showing some Cabernet character, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Bootjack Ranch yields plenty of toasty black fruit, licorice, wild herbs, cedar and asphalt to go with a medium-bodied, moderately concentrated profile on the palate. 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petite Verdot, 1% Carmenere. 14.8% ABV.
