IWC 91 Pts - According to Stephen Tanzer - Very pure, discreet aromas of white currant, greengage plum, lemon zest and minerals. Very intense and fresh, offering sharp definition to the flavors of Granny Smith apple, pineapple and damp stone. Nice texture and a touch of sweetness, plus a hint of tannins on the firm finish. I like this! The first vintage for this wine, under the new label of talented consulting winemaker/enologist Erica Orr.
According to Wine Spectator - Light and refreshing, with modest pear and pepper flavors, finishing a bit sweet. Drink now.
Winemakers Notes - The aromatics are meant to be subtle, like the white part of a watermelon rind or crunchy greengage plums. Sometimes it smells like a wet sidewalk, other times it reminds me of crisp romaine lettuce. It's bright. I wanted something fresh and minerally, a little nervy, almost electric. 12.4% ABV.
