According to Robert Parker - "The 2013 Chardonnay Dutton Ranch comes from some of the Ranch’s oldest vines, planted in 1969. This Burgundian/Meursault-like effort reveals notes of orange marmalade, tangerine oil, hazelnuts, almond paste and wet rocks. Complex, rich and full with fresh, zesty acidity, this beauty should drink well for 6-8 years. It comes from such California Heirloom clones as Hyde-Wente, Davis, Robert Young and Rued."
According to Wine Spectator - "Still a touch raw and pithy, with moderately rich citrus, green apple and white peach flavors, showing a floral and spicy edge. Drink now."
Tasting Notes - "High-toned tropical and Muscat-like notes alongside lovely layers of white flower and citrus peel. On the palate, the texture is plush and mouthfilling, with flavors that echo the aromas. French oak-inspired notes of hazelnut, graham cracker and spicy clove, as well as a hint of campfire smoke." 14.2% ABV.
