According to Wine Spectator - "New from singer Boz Scaggs and tighter than a drum, this delivers restrained aromas, with tight, snappy cranberry and pomegranate flavors supported by firm tannins. This is tar-laced, finishing with tight, spicy and peppery scents. Needs time. Mourvèdre, Grenache, Syrah and Counoise. Best from 2014 through 2023."
Tasting Notes - "Complex aromatic array of dried flowers, flint, cranberry, violets, cocoa and cinnamon spice in the nose. The palate is brimming with plum, black cherry, pomegranate, blueberry with tobacco and and a slight gamey character in the finish. The wine is smooth and round on the palate while still nicely framed by underlying tannins and good acidity." 14.3% ABV.
