WE 90 Pts - According to Wine Enthusiast - "Sourced from two low-yielding vineyards in Dry Creek Valley, this Zin is heady and delicious with flavors of wild cherry, red currant, cola, thyme, white pepper and sandalwood. Thereメs a glyerine feel from high alcohol, but the palate is balanced with acidity and a dry finish. This just might be the best barbecue wine of the vintage."

Winemaker Notes - "In the early 1900s, Seghesio Family Vineyards began purchasing fruit from growers in Dry Creek Valley in recognition of the area’s great potential for Zinfandel. Our Dry Creek Valley appellation Zinfandel is sourced from some of the valley’s best benchland sites as well as from the estate-farmed Cortina vineyard, named for the dominant soil type of this area. Cortina is a gravelly loam that contributes to Dry Creek Valley’s reputation as one of the finest places in the world to grow Zinfandel."
