94+ Pts - According to Robert Parker
- The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon
Brothers Vineyard is ample with sweet tannin and notes of licorice, blackcurrants, graphite and earth. It is dense, powerful, yet at the same time well-balanced and pure, and exceptionally well-crafted. Give it several years of bottle age and drink it over the following 10-20 years. According to Antonio Galloni
- Explosive and powerful to the core, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon
The Brothers presents dark tonalities of fruit along with distinctly savory and mineral notes. Grilled herbs, smoke, lavender and pencil shavings add nuance. The Brothers is dark, powerful and brooding in style, not to mention more structured than the Ricos Cabernet, Accordingly, it needs a few years to fully come together. Winemakers Notes - The 2013 Snowden Cabernet Sauvignon Brothers Vineyard is a classic Cabernet. Sometimes when I’m in the thrall of a great wine, I prefer not to single out tasting descriptors, in favor of general impressions of the spirit of the wine. The Brothers 2013 is focused and powerful. It is vibrant, brooding and balanced. It has mineral, savory length. Our entire family has worked so hard, and with the utmost integrity, to produce this wine. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. 98% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot. 15.2% ABV.
