WA (92-94) IWC 92 AG 92 Pts - According to Robert Parker - The 2012 Pinot Noir North Slope is made from Dijon clone 115. Beautiful black currant and black cherry fruit aromas along with subtle wood spice in the background soar from this rich, full Pinot. It seems to be even more intense than the Three Rows. Drink this beauty over the next decade.
According to International Wine Cellar - Brilliant ruby-red. Oak-spiced red and dark berry scents expand with air and pick up notes of cola, sassafras and rose. Sappy and penetrating, offering energetic blackberry and bitter cherry flavors that deepen and become spicier in the glass. Finishes smooth and long, with supple tannins providing grip and gentle acidity lending lift and detail.
According to Antonio Galloni - Hansel's 2012 Pinot Noir North Slope is nicely layered in the glass. This is one the more approachable, finely-knit of the 2012 Pinots at this stage. The 2012 stands out for its distinctly spiced bouquet, dark red stone fruit and terrific overall balance. The soft, supple finish is incredibly inviting. 14.2% ABV. Rated 90+
