According to Wine Advocate - The 2014 EA is an unoaked blend of Aragonez (30%), Trincadeira (20%), Alicante Bouschet (20%), Syrah (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), aged in a 50/50 mixture of used, French and American barrels for six months. For a relatively modest wine, it comes in at a hefty 14.5% alcohol level. Showing very well at its modest price point, it is crisp and a bit herbal in its youth. It has a nice, fresh feel. The overall structure seems to contribute to this wine's exuberance. It has lifted fruit, plus a very tasty finish. Drink it a bit cool and young, because that is what it is made to do, but it has some precision and finesse this year, too. It is a nice bargain. 14.5% ABV.
