WE 93 WA 91 WS 91 Pts - According to Wine Enthusiast - Blackberry, plum and leather aromas define the bouquet on this ripe, meaty Malbec. In the mouth, this feels lush and deep, and the purity is exemplary. Flavors of blackberry, dark plum, licorice and baking spices finish toasty and complete. This is yet another excellent Malbec from Cobos; drink through 2018.
According to Wine Spectator - Concentrated, with cinnamon and smoke undertones to the pure cassis and cherry puree fruit character, supported by a full, creamy frame. Mouthcoating, this presents a long, fresh fruit-filled finish. Drink now through 2017.
According to Wine Advocate - The 2011 Bramare Malbec, made from fruit sourced in Lujan de Cuyo, is fermented in stainless steel vats with a total of 24 days of maceration and is aged in French and American oak for 18 months (19% new). It is deep purple-colored and displays a serious nose of ripe fruit. The palate is fresher and more vibrant compared with its sibling from Uco despite being a full-bodied Malbec. The flavors gravitate more toward the black fruit, with spicy notes and dark chocolate hints. It has good complexity and a slightly warm finish, which also gives it good length. Drink 2014-2021.
