WA 89 Pts - According to Robert Parker - A custom cuvee made for Eric Solomon from this large producer, this 2011 Albarino reveals loads of tropical fruit, white peach, honeysuckle and apricot notes along with medium body and a fresh, lively style. The crisp acid and abundant fruit make this a hedonistic, crowd-pleasing, dry white to drink over the next 1-2 years.
Winemaker Notes - A bright greenish yellow color with golden highlights. A uniquely fruity aroma where the variety is clearly appreciated, highlighting hints of ripe apples, apricots, and peach aromas. In the mouth, it is rich, mellow and well-balanced. The aftertaste is fully rounded and off dry on the palate with juicy fruit flavors, clean acidity and a long, mineral-dominated finish. 12.5% ABV.
