  • Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino 'White Label' 2011

Vinous 92 pts "Casanova di Neri's 2011 Brunello di Montalcino is a very pretty and expressive wine. Sweet red cherry, menthol, rose petal and mint open up first, followed by a touch of blood orange that adds lovely aromatic lift and brightness throughout. Although not especially complex, the 2011 should drink beautifully for at least a handful of years. Today, it is quite pretty and expressive."

The Wine Advocate 92pts  - "Giacomo Neri has produced a very approachable wine in this warm vintage. The 2011 Brunello di Montalcino is plump and juicy with loads of dark fruit and mild spice at the back. It doesn't have the depth or complexity of the gorgeous 2010 vintage, but the wine does a very good job presenting the main traits you look for in Brunello. The fruit is lively and the acidity gives the wine a sense of buoyancy and brightness. The tannins are very well integrated. It doesn't reach Brunello greatness, but it is a good Brunello. "

A light to medium-bodied style that emphasizes ethereal, perfumed aromatics rather than an overt expression of fruit." by Robert Parker Robert Parker 91 The Wine Advocate - "The 2011 Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva Dimonios is a very interesting red wine that is rooted in an authentic sense of typicity and territory. The bouquet is beautifully etched and elegant with wild berries, Sardinian mirto and balsam herb. The bouquet has a lifting and pungent quality that may indicate a very low level of volatility, although it only serves to increase the wine's overall intensity and sharpness. The results are tight and expressive."

  • Chateau Lanessan 2011 Haut-Medoc Cru Bourgeois
Domaines Bouteiller lies in the commune de Cussac-Fort Médoc, in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, and consists of three internationally known estates, Château Lanessan, Château Lachesnaye and Château de Sainte Gemme. Domaines Bouteiller extends over 380 hectares on the outskirts of the village of Saint Julien and on the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée Haut-Médoc 'terroir' and includes 80 hectares of vines, most of which are Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, though Château Lanessan has some Cabernet Franc and Petit-Verdot. The vines need special care throughout the year through pruning and "sécaillage", or "tying up", which add to the quality and typicity of Domaines Bouteiller wines. Every stage of winemaking takes place in the winery and the ageing cellars. Here, we carry out all the tasks required to produce a vintage wine – harvest, vinification, blending and bottling – with all the care that the "new-born infant" requires.
