JS 91 Pts - According to James Suckling - A juicy red for the vintage with plum, dark chocolate and hints of vanilla on the nose and palate. Full body, chewy tannins and a medium finish. Well done for 2011. Needs to soften with bottle age: Try in 2015.
Tasting Notes - Aromas of red currant, dried cherry, cigar box, cocoa, tobacco leaf and fig compote rise from the glass. On the palate, this wine is fresh and supple, with flavors of huckleberry, spiced plum, rhubarb and red currant supported by dusty, fine-grained tannins and hints of cedar and sage. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 2% Malbec, 2% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot. 13.5% ABV.
