JS 92 Pts - According to James Suckling - "Extremely dark fruit on then nose with blackberries and wet earth. Full body, with a solid core of fruit and a mineral, blue slate and blueberry aftertaste. Black pepper and spice finish. So much wonderful wine for the money. Drink now." According to Wine Spectator - "Brambly, with lithe red currant and dark plum flavors that are fresh and juicy. Hints of white pepper and sage emerge on the polished finish. Drink now through 2018." According to Stephen Tanzer - "Bright, dark red. Maraschino cherry and blackberry on the high-pitched nose, further lifted by a floral note. Tight and juicy on the palate, currently less pliant than the 2014 Felino Cabernet. Shows a restrained sweetness to its flavors of black cherry, chocolate and menthol. More tannic as well, but neither dry nor tart on the finish." Tasting Notes - "Intense dark garnet, with flecks of purple and indigo. The nose introduces floral notes at first, followed by intense redcurrant, raspberry, black cherry and a hint of vanilla and white chocolate. Very bright on the palate, with fleshy, polished tannins and a juicy berry acidity that keeps this unique, assertive Malbec focused." 93% malbec, 4% cabernet sauvignon and 3% merlot. 14.5% ABV.
