Wine Enthusiast Review
Fully concentrated in dusty black fruit and tobacco, this blends 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot, 3% Merlot, 2% Malbec and 1% Cabernet Franc. Mellowed in terms of ripeness and body weight, it offers sizable tannins that provide structure along the midpalate.
Wine Tasting Notes
This singular and elegant wine reflects the characteristic depth of Bordeaux varieties and the winemaker's art in blending. A violet-red color precedes inviting aromas of black currant, graphite, toasted sourdough and peppercorn. The wine is luscious with cassis fruit, a pearly/velvety entry, notes of peat and savory herbs and fleshy plum flavors ending with medium grip tannins and a succulent finish.

I tried this wine after getting a notice about it in the newsletter. For the price paid it's a good wine, not the best in this category but it's a solid Meritage.
It has a very sharp finish it’s ok
